OK, so I'm a self proclaimed Xbox360 fanboy. I was a PC gamer. I have always owned consoles (I have a Sega Saturn in my bedroom. It is still in use.), but I was a mad dog "consoles are weak" PC gamer. All that changed after my XP machine started crashing and I bought an Xbox360. I started playing the 360 more and more. I became a fanboy because the games I was playing looked and played incredibly. Xbox live and it's casual games helped the push towards fanboy-ism.
Fast forward. PS3 is going to launch. Price is wow high. Games were rehashes or looked like shit (you know who you are). I decided that when there were some games I wanted to play that came out as exclusives on the PS3 I would get one. I started reading the PS3 fanboy sites. Wow. It made me want to change my mind on purchasing the PS3 (I didn't). What a bunch of brainwashed lunatics. I challenge people who know nothing about either console to read both sites, and tell me who the crazy people are. I can almost guarantee people will come away with the same feelings I have. It's not just that site. Any neutral gaming site, like joystiq or Playfeed
, suffers from the same issues. PS3 fanboys talking shit about Xbox or MS and rabidly defending their console of choice.
So my note to you PS3 fanboys: Please stop. Take a deep breath, take some time out, and relax.
Seriously, if online play for PS3 is filled with these wack jobs, I'll be playing my PS3 games single player.

Would you choose health coverage or food?
This is a good article about the craziness of coverage that doesn't cover, or coverage that is so expensive the choice for some is health coverage or food. I know this feeling. I work as an IT contractor for Lockheed Martin (the worlds richest, most powerful, largest defense contractor in the world) and I have to pay $140 bucks a week for coverage that sucks. It is slightly better than having no coverage. Welcome to America, land of the filthy rich and also home of the working uninsured.

Elmira woman sold the wrong turtle at rummage sale
So, I randomly pick on the place where I moved to from NYC. Articles like the one below though give me no choice but to continue to berate the local news of my new home. With wars, scandals, local politicians letting the city and county fall to pieces, this is what they report on? OMFG.
Please read the article. It's more than she just sold the turtle, it's what it contained.

Spock.com is broke-tarded.
In my never ending search to consolidate the "inter-me" (the web based version of myself), I have come across a few sites that help to do these things. Using www.claimid.com is one way. You basically enter the links yourself and it can validate some of your info to pronounce to the world "Yes, this person does indeed own www.moviepoopshoot.com!"
I found another more frustrating way as well. If you use www.spock.com it will find the blogs, emails, and websites that it thinks are you. You then have to claim this by entering your log in info for the site you are claiming which it validates and says "yup, you are the owner of this web crap." well, at least that what it is supposed to do. Let me tell you what really happened. I signed up with my email account and it validated it. (Sent me a confirmation email, which you click on the link to accept. Any of this sound familiar?) Then I tried to claim my www.myspace.com account. I entered my log in info, which it says it would validate with the site. Well, Spock told me I had incorrect log in info. Um, hi, I just validated that same freaking email address as mine! I use that same email account to log into myspace with! Grr... I know it's "beta" , but come on. Anyone want to test out the broke-tarded site can leave a comment and get an invite.
